Barrack Obama informs crowd in Columbus, Miss., he will not be on the "dream" ticket. Hillary saying that voters could have both her and Obama on a ballot coined the “dream” ticket. She would be president and Obama her vice president.
Obama questions Hillary in regards to her "dream" ticket. He asks the crowd, if Hillary thinks I am not ready to be president, then what makes her want me to be her running mate?
Obama clarifies to the people in Miss. the voters will have to decide who will be president. Again confirming there will be no "dream" ticket.
In addition, Obama illustrates to a crowd of women at Mississippi University that he does not understand how someone who is in second place can offer the person in first place the position of vice president.

Obama's foreign policy adviser resigns after calling Hillary Clinton a "monster"
Samantha Power, Pulitzer Pize winning author and Obama's unpaid foreign policy adviser, resigned Friday after calling Hillary Clinton a "monster" in an interview with the Scotsman newspaper.
Samantha Power apologized to both Senator Clinton and Senator Obama for her inexcusable remarks. Her comments about Senator Clinton came as she was blaming Obama's loss in Texas and Ohio on Hillary's negative campaigning.
The Clinton campaign used Power's remark as a way of raising more campaign money. They sent out an e-mail to campaign supporters highlighting the "monster" quote and said that a small contribution will show Obama that there is a price to pay for political attacks. The Cinton campaign never mentioned that Ms. Power had resigned.
Obama's campaign does plan on elevating its attacks on Clinton in response.
Gregory Meeks, New York Rep., says "This is the worst kind of politics."

Hillary Clinton Wins!
Hillary Clinton won Ohio, Texas and Rhode Island Tuesday night.
March 4th was said to be a deciding point for Hillary. Her husband said she needed to win Ohio and Texas in order for her to continue in the Democratic delegate race.
Although she has closed some margins in the race, she will need to win more contests to defeat Obama. Obama is already predicted to win Mississippi and Wyoming next Tuesday. This will put a greater gap in the margin for Hillary to overcome.
Hillary's advertisements questioning Obama's ability to handle a crisis at "3 a.m," may have helped her win the three contests. Hillary sends a clear message in her advertisements to Obama that she will not go down without a fight.

A high school in Kano state has suffered the death of two Christian students and a Christian police officer. The Christian students and a police officer were attacked by Islamic students with machetes and knives after a "blasphemous" article was written about the Islam prophet, Muhammad. The article is believed to be written by an Islamic person to justify attacking Christian students in Nigeria. The Islamic students accused the Christian students of writing the article because it was written in english. Rev. Kogo of the Evangelical Church in West Africa, investigated the article. He informed the Compass that an Islamic student had written the article. Does praying together help marriages stay together?
The old saying is, "families that pray together, stay together." A Barna survey says the divorce rate among Christians and non-Christians is just as high. The high rate is disturbing news to the Christian followers. Dr. Brad Wilcox of the University of Virginia, says that those statistics are not the whole story. He says the statistics fell by 35 percent for the couples who attended church regurally . Pastor Techanchuk of Wave Church, says he has seen the most success in marriages when the couples are committed, read the bible together, and pray together.

Gay Mormons will soon meet with new leader
A group of gay Mormons, in Salt Lake City, are eager to meet with their new president and his counsel to discuss a new way of approaching the topic of gays and lesbians. Churches mostly now see homosexuality as a deadly sin and that it has a need to be fixed. Churches often turn away from homosexualities. This way of aproaching homosexuality often leads to a higher suicidal rate in young gay men. It also leads to many young homosexuals being kicked out of their home. The Mormons are hoping the new president will be as proactive as the past president.

A Muslim raised man converts to Christianity
Adam, a Muslim raised in Morocco, converts to Christianity. He was a Muslim for for about twenty years. He states that he was punished for failing to follow the Muslim teachings. He follows through with an example of how his own mother broke his nose for not praying during Ramadan. His mother also ordered for an attack to be placed upon him. The attackers threw Adam from the fourth floor of a mall and left him unconscious for fifteen days. Through Christian television and an internet chat room called "pal talk," he learned that God does not promote violence. The television shows and chat rooms were challenging everything he had believed for the last twenty years. He converted to a Christian and from his hospital bed, he is preaching the good news.

A New Religous Trend for the Rich
Many of the United State's leaders are stepping out of the church to worship God. They are not satisfied with the way the churches are inefficiently running things. They are aslo dissatisfied with the church's focus. This is being said by many business and political leaders. Those who are dissatisfied with the church are forming their own bible studies in private quarters. These studies are also by invitation only. It is like the white collars are setting a trend of a gated-community church.
Churches will be losing out by not having these leaders to help out the church with finances, problem solving, and guidance. On the other hand, the church officials feel that the white collar leaders will be missing out on the interaction they would have with the everyday people they would sit by at church.

Faith in God Keeps Tornado Victims in Tennessee Moving Forward
Tornado victims in Lafayette, Tennessee find refuge from the aftermath of the ravaging storms that have claimed 59 lives in the local churches and their unfailing faith. The survivors that were interviewed felt that it was a higher power that saved their lives. They explain they were still alive for a reason and only God knows his purpose for them. One lady said as she was explaining the damage, that her nephew came across a torn hymnal of all but one song - "Victory Behind The Clouds." Needless to say, the lady, among the rest of the community, are counting their blessings that their lives were saved.
The churches are currently serving as disaster centers while supplying the community with food, clothing, shelter and medicine. Terry Gillim, a minister at the Church of Christ in Lafayette, says "Members of his church brushed elbows over boxes with those he had never seen in church before." The volunteers in the town are really demonstrating brotherly love and while telling their stories of survival, giving other survivors hope.
President Bush addressed the Lafayette community, while evaluating the aftermath of the storm's devestation, he states: " Macon County people are down to earth, hardworking, God-fearing people, who if just given a little help, will come back stronger."
