A high school in Kano state has suffered the death of two Christian students and a Christian police officer. The Christian students and a police officer were attacked by Islamic students with machetes and knives after a "blasphemous" article was written about the Islam prophet, Muhammad. The article is believed to be written by an Islamic person to justify attacking Christian students in Nigeria. The Islamic students accused the Christian students of writing the article because it was written in english. Rev. Kogo of the Evangelical Church in West Africa, investigated the article. He informed the Compass that an Islamic student had written the article. He also informs the Compass that this startegey is commonly used across northern Nigeria to keep Christian students out of school.
